From the USA Today bestselling author of True, Sweet, and Believe comes a tantalizing New Adult novel about finding love in the most unexpected ways…

Kylie Warner prides herself on being optimistic, but after finding her best friend in bed with her boyfriend and flunking chemistry, her upbeat attitude has taken a dive. Even an impromptu hook-up with her sexy new chemistry tutor only brightens her mood slightly. After all, it’s not like she’ll ever see the tattooed scholar again…

While he’s a whiz at complex equations, Jonathon Kadisch has trouble when it comes to figuring out women. So when Kylie tells him that she’s pregnant after their night of passion, he’s at a complete loss. He’s prepared to be a good father—unlike his own deadbeat dad—but he’s less prepared to fall for the genuine and alluring blonde bearing his child.

With emotions running high, Kylie wonders if Jonathon’s devotion is out of growing love or looming obligation. And when heartbreak threatens to tear them apart, Jonathon will have to fight for the only girl who’s ever made him feel whole…

My Review:

I have enjoyed this series, they are always quick reads with just enough oomph to keep me interested, but not make me think to hard. I loved the first book True and the second book Sweet, and had high hopes for the final 2 books in the series. However, I was unforutantly disspointed. It began with the 3rd book in the series Believe, it was an okay book but I think it had a lot more potential then what actually happened which disspointed me. BUT I didn’t give up on the series because well, I had already read three books I might as well finish the series.. plus I LOVED the position that Kylie was put in, maybe that’s a little mean but I was ready for the greatness that I experienced in the first 2 books to come back.

Kylie is well perfect, she looks perfect acts perfect and is perfect. Everything good just happens to her, until she goes home and her douchbag bf sleeps with her bestfriend. She freaked (totally acceptable) and she is trying to move on. Then she meets Jonathan and has a one night stand with the hottie nerd (OMG A HOT NERD!)

And then… well that’s about it really, the rest is very predictable. Whatever you think happens, does. Although not a bad thing, the predicatibily was a little sucky because I just felt there was so much potential! I loved Kylie and Jonathan, but I could have loved them MORE.

The saving grace for me though was that although the story wasn’t my favorite, I loved how smooth the writing is. I will continue to read books that Erin McCarthy puts out simply because her writing style is so perfect. I just hope the stories back the spark the first two books in this series had.

Recommendations: If you have read the other books in this series, you might as well read this one too… you do get full closure on all the characters at the end of this which was cool and although the story didn’t meet my expectations I loved Jonathan (hot nerd!) So you should totes meet him.
